A wasted side area in St Albans turned into paving, pebbles, slate, raised beds and pots.
Mr and Mrs Humpage’s project in St Albans started as a wasted area. It is now a courtyard.
The hard landscaping runs through paving, blocks, pebbles and slate, with curves rather than one straight line. Raised beds sit behind brick walls, with feature planting, pots, sculptures, an arch, and stone and fence details. The planting is held in the beds and the pots so the paving stays clear.
