New sandstone paving
An old tarmac drive in Borehamwood taken up and relaid in sandstone.
Mr Gorden wanted the front of the house to add something to the property, and he wanted the old tarmac drive gone. Sandstone paving was the replacement.
The old surface was excavated. Hardcore went down and was compacted as the base. A block edge was laid around the outline, then the sandstone slabs, and the joints were pointed.
